Kylie Ann Minogue

 Born 28 May 1968 she is an Australian singer-songwriter and actress, working and living in London. After beginning her career as a child actress on Australian television, she achieved recognition through her role in the television soap opera Neighbours, before beginning her career as a recording artist in 1987.

1987- I should be so lucky

Released on 29 December 1987 by Mushroom Records and PWL Records, this song became worldwide hit. The music video for "I Should Be So Lucky" was directed by Chris Langman and filmed in November 1987 at Channel 7 Studios in Melbourne, Australia the video features Minogue walking through her home, with scenes of her dancing in front of a colorful chalkboard background. It presented a cute, young "girl-next-door" image of Minogue to the public, with scenes of her giggling and making funny faces to the camera.

One shot kylie is show with a chalk board with the words “I luv you”  the chalk board is also very childlike as it is from this we begin to think it’s a bit odd to see a women in her early 20’s this tells us that the target audience is much lower than us. Also when she is in her night wear we don’t expect to see a 20 year old wearing that and she then get a large picture of a man who appears to be her one love but she does not know him she begin to sing in to picture of the man, who she has no real relation to. However, the audience members that the single is targeted to could relate as that age group would have pictures of their celebrity ‘crush’ next to their beds. With this we could then link the childlike drawings to this target audience.
